I know it's weird. And I'm posting - Hell's frozen over.
Anyway, here goes my poem. No laughing :/
(Oh) All I want to do is to sit here,
Wasting away in depths of memories
Tie them down, hold them dear
And never let them go
I’ll remember the smiles, the laughs,
And the joy amongst the tears
If not in body, at least in mind,
We’ll always be right here
Love unspoken, doesn’t go unheard
Our hearts speak words you do not hear;
Brandish smiles that erase all your fears
Memories we share, never disappear
Remember me well, forget-me-not,
Grasp onto the moments, hold them tight
And time though cruel, will relent one day
We’ll be back to make it all alright
And while we’re away, on leave tonight
Don’t let misconceptions steer your heart
Be brave, bold, modest and the best you could be
Let nothing change, though worlds apart
In you, harbour faith, courage and dignity,
In us, hold steadfast love, care and magnanimity
For all, pursue goals and everlasting harmony
To all, relish thy unforgettable memories
A simple word of thanks don’t do justice
For all and everything you’ve done
But it’s true when I’m saying thanks
For making us today, your number ones
On quest to reassure and to reiterate,
Though timeworn, I’ll always love you like no other
‘Cause to me you’re special, can’t be replaced
And I’ll always cherish the moments spent together
